Yeah, I know Detroit has a crappy reputation throughout the US, as if it is the only city that has abandoned buildings, and crime (I have seen Tacoma, so any West Coasters from that area should not be so hypocritical) but it does not help when the only news I see is this:
3 people, killed 1 wounded after Detroit shootout
I would bet your last dollar that something good happened in Detroit, and something bad happened somewhere else (your city) but somehow that never makes it in the news.
The best part of the story? The gunmen "fled in a Dodge Avenger." I have driven a Dodge Avenger. You ain't "fleeing" anywhere in that thing!

You know, another way to think about Detroit is New Oreleans. They are just like Detroit with bad guys and crime and broken down homes, not to mention what the hurianes did. Now they are living large because of the football saints. If fords would get the lions to win the super bowl, it would make Detroit live large to. And the tv exposure would sell more cars and fix the economy! Now theres a plan i would like and you would like the good news spread acros afhganistan!!! go tigers! Go wings to the playoffs!! go Detroit!!!

I ran the numbers and if Fords spend enough they can get Reg Bush from the NO saints without braking the bank. Thats because they stink and have draft players that are younger and cheaper. Oops...except for Stafford who owns half of Ford Field now. LOL!!!
